BLOG 7: MY FAVOURITE MOVIE

Hello, how are you? I'm a little tired with the end of the semester but ok hahaha. Today I want to talk to you about my favorite movie although I must advance that it is very common to see it hahaha.

My favorite animated movie is "Intensely":

The main theme of the movie is how Riley Anderson an 11 year old girl who is entering puberty / adolescence mentally and emotionally copes with moving out of town and thus away from her friends.

In her mind there is a control center made up of five emotions: Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust.
Alegria is the leader of the group and is always optimistic about Riley's circumstances. On the contrary, she is always hopeless about Riley's new life. The rest of the emotions are assigned a negative role, as they prevent Riley from adapting in the right way in his new school, ice hockey group, relationship with his parents and classmates.

Joy and sadness for a mistake must leave the headquarters and start a journey inside Riley's mind, consequently anger, fear and dislike are left in charge of Riley's emotional behavior which pushes Riley to make bad decisions like, for example running away from his new home to go back to his old town.
I like this movie because its plot teaches us the importance of not repressing emotions, especially sadness. One tends to believe that this feeling and/or emotion is negative for our individual behavior when it is quite the opposite sometimes this will serve us 1) to create pleasant memories and 2) generates learning.
Welloo I think that's all thanks for reading me <3

  2. Hi Marian! I hope you are very well. I love "Intensely" I think it is one of the best animated films in history, through cartoons and editions, it manages to develop the difficulties that people are exposed to, especially when we are younger, since dealing with our different emotions is a complex process. I'll never get over Bing Bong's death :(

  3. Hey! OMG that movie really marks me, i went to the cinema to see it wih my family and i cried a lot with Bing Bong :,(. When I saw it i really enjoyed the character of Joy, she was like the sunshine jajaj but my favourite scene of the movie is the end, when Joy and sadness noticed that they can create memories with more than one feeling.

I am telling you because I also saw the movie and I like it a lot, I always watch these movies as a family and we have a great time, they give a healthy and quite simple entertainment although we must admit that this movie has a background a little more important than others animated films aah and also mention that my favorite character is fury.
